Howdy from the Republic of Texas,
By way of an intro, I’m one of the newer contributor subscribers to the BMW Airhead Fellowship from across The Pond. I’ve been messing with motorcycles since I first got a Puch moped from Sears, Roebuck and Co back in 1960 at the age of fourteen. Since then, most all have been European manufacture save for a Hodaka Combat Wombat and a Yamaha MXer that fed my racing needs back when I was younger and much more flexible.
Currently, I have three Airheads in my shop. There’s my nekkid 1978 R100S, and two R65s vintage 1981 and 1983. Each has been slightly personalized. There’s also a Triumph Trophy 900 in the mix. I hope to contribute what I can to the Airhead e-Zine. Reading a few archived issues has been a pleasant experience.
Until next time, I hope to meet y’all on the pages of The Airhead.
