Hi. I have a 1994 r80rt, had it a couple of years now, trying to enhance its features while staying as original as possible.

Hi all dear Airhead owners, I just signed up, still awaiting confirmation. Last week I took over the guardianship of my first airhead, a BMW R65 mono, and now I am entitled to enter into the esteemed fellowship of BMW Airheads! I started 11 years ago with the most modern beemers, K1200S, R1200GS, and gradually went back into time..... I love the little lady I now have in the garage, the significant moment in time where BMW merged old with new; the reliable 247 airhead in a monoshock frame with the modcoms of electric start and heated grips.... At last I can easily do the maintenance myself, no complex electronics to worry about, but I know that the little lady quite happily will carry me around Europe, taking the twisties in the Black Forest and Alpine areas with ease and grace.

Just joined & am currently resurrecting my 1973 R90/6. Had the bike since '81 but it's been off the road for 15 years! Had several other bikes in the meantime, including another lovely R90/6 for at least 10 years. Forced myself to sell that to a guy in Scotland so I would get on with my original one. Enjoy you bikes!
Chris in Clevedon.
