Our very own Ian Clarke has just returned from an all-expenses paid trip to Pennsylvania, where he was invited to be a speaker at the Airhead Supertech 3 convention. It sounds to have been a superb trip with extremely hospitable hosts and a really interesting convention. Ian will be reporting on his expriences in a forthcoming issue.

There's a good write-up of the BMWAF in the March issue of the Classic Bike Guide. I'll be printing a scan of it in next month's The Airhead for those of you who can't get a copy. Useful publicity - let's hope we get more like-minded people joining us as a result.

I've just got four twin rooms left on the run now. So that's another four (or eight) more riders we can take, depending on whether you're willing to share. Time and places are running out now so if you want more details then drop me a mail ( editor.theairhead@gmail.com) asap.

The route for The End to End is coming together nicely now, thanks to help from members. Once it's complete I'll post full details here on the website.

One stretch I'm not happy with is the first day - the Great Escape from the West Country. The M5 is a no-no and if my memory is correct, the A30 and A303 are fine but pretty boring. if anyone can come up with a route for getting ...

Two members have been using their creative talents to make logos for us this month. We need these for going on the BMWAF's display flags as well as the merchandise which we're investigating producing.

First of all, Pete Dutton's impressive offerings:

and Ivan Payne's:

Thanks guys - without efforts like your The Airhead simply couldn't keep going.

For me I prefer Ivan's logos, no disrespect to Peter's logos

Well done to both!

Well done to all designers,my preference is the top one by Peter. It would make a nice belt buckle if the corporate logo wouldn't be a problem.

These two comments just sum up why we need as many people as possible helping to do these things. No one size fits all. Some people will prefer one to the other - and vice versa, but more to the point, some logos will fit some situations more than others. We need all four.
